A now very popular escape for those on foot in traffic laden NYC. Stretching from 30th Street to just past 17th Street on the city's west side next to 10th Avenue. These carefully constructed, elevated boardwalks, are lined at times with flower beds, old rail lines and often cheered by some stunning graffiti. This is a place to visit for a different view of familiar NYC sights such as the Hudson River, its many quays and warehouse buildings. Go early to escape other visitors and stop off at food vendors en route.
