“Perhaps my favourite part of New York”
Reviewed July 9, 2013

I love this place and make an effort to walk it's length everytime I come. I have noticed that the grasses are getting more established and this time in particular the scents were strong. Its great for people watching and for catching intimate views of the city and river. I would recommend starting at the north end so that you end up in the meatpackers district for dinner or a glass of wine up at the licsened bar near to the end.

“A park unlike any other”
Reviewed July 9, 2013

Loved the concept - convert rather than tear down. I like that the original rail lines have been incorporated into this little elevated park. One word of warning - some elevators were damaged in Superstorm Sandy and are still not operational.

“Fun stroll”
Reviewed July 9, 2013

After visiting Chelsea Market, I strolled over to the High Line to use to walk back to my hotel. The walkway is beautiful. The flowers surrounding the path are lovely. There are places along the path to sit and people watch. I picked up a Popsicle from a vendor to eat on my journey. Great alternative to walking up the street or taking the subway.

“Loved the High Line”
Reviewed July 9, 2013

What a creative use of space and great way to preserve a slice of New York's history. We enjoyed walking along the entire length of the highline. There are plenty of places to sit and an area when you can buy coffee and snacks. A must do in NYC. Go in the morning and avoid weekends a sit tends to get very crowded.
