Description: Today, visitors from all over the world—English, German, French, Japanese—still come to Good Enough to Eat to enjoy classic American food. They sit side by side with Upper West Side “regulars,” enjoying wholesome, mouth-watering (and ample) plates such as Macaroni and Cheese, Lemon Parmesan Chicken, Pecan Trout, Caesar Salad, Sweet Potato Fries, the now legendary Meatloaf and Turkey Dinners, and Peach Pie with homemade Vanilla Ice Cream. The appetite for wholesome, authentic, traditional American food only seems to be growing – both here and in cultures across the globe. And we at The Restaurant Group still carry out Carrie Levin’s mission to satisfy that hunger at Good Enough to Eat.

This was recommended by a friend. We're very glad we went there. Excellent and unique menu, very friendly staff, and large portions. You won't leave hungry. The decor is fun to look at. Highly recommended.

I was here early on a Monday morning and the place filled very quickly. I had the banana walnut pancakes which were fantastic. Very friendly, down to earth waiters who were welcoming and attentive. It has a relaxed vibe that feels almost like you've taken a vacation from New York back to a small town where there's no rush. Lots of other things on the menu looked really good too and I'm looking forward to visiting again. Great experience.

My sister and I both had the bacon waffles for a late breakfast and were more than satisfied. Service was quick and efficient and prices were very affordable considering the area. Cant wait to go back and try the dinner menu.

The space is cramped, there is sometimes a wait, but the food and staff are first class. Try the apple pancake. Or if breakfast food does not appeal, they have some great sandwiches and salads. There are fancier places, but few better places for breakfast or brunch.

Really tasty pancakes, served with real maple syrup and strawberry butter! Get there before 9:30am though, as the queue starts to form around that time.
