“awful lasagne”
Reviewed October 6, 2013

we both had lasagne and it was awful, cold, not cooked enough and no taste. I dont think there was any kind of spices or herbs, didnt even eat half and the didnt even ask why.

The restaurant was very busy so maybe it was just 2 bad lasagnes or maybe nothing else in the area??

Dont go here, its not worth wasting your money

“best Italian outside of Italy!”
Reviewed October 5, 2013

we were staying next door and had been to the happy hour at the bar and booked for dinner. It was just the best food and service. It also happened to be my 50th birthday so we were reallly happy with our decision. The wine list is extensive and not over priced. The food excellent. We went twice during out stay and it did not disappoint. We went to the bar 5 out of the 7 nights we were there for a drink before heading out. The barman was very professional and efficient. The clientele were city workers so it had a nice buzz especially on the Friday evening.

There was nothing bad about the restaurant, service and food was good. Noisy atmosphere due it's location. I would go again.

“Surprisingly good”
Reviewed September 3, 2013 via mobile

We went down the street looking for a comfortable dining experience w our kids and another restaurant next door had high reviews. We were afraid to walk in that place it looked scary. We stumbled into pasta lovers. The boys loved the pizza and penne ala vodka. I had a great Stromboli. We would surely go back. The service and atmosphere was excellent.

Next to us was a couple enjoying a meal with a nice bottle of wine. It is great for couples and families.

“Post theatre meal”
Reviewed August 15, 2013 via mobile

Stopped by here on the way back from a show. Got there at 10:30 and were promptly told "order fast, we close at 11." Trying to respect that, we quickly ordered Margherita pizza and spaghetti bolognese. Took about 20 minutes to get our food. Food was brought, set down, and we never saw our server again. Never offered ground pepper or fresh grated cheese. That aside, the food was actually good. The pizza was light and fresh tasting, and the spaghetti was a substantial portion I would try eating here again, just earlier with the hope that service would improve.
