“Perfect Atmosphere”
Reviewed April 3, 2014

My daughter and I went here on a rainy Saturday morning. It was one of the few places open at 8AM. There weren't many guests at that point, no problem getting nice table by the front window. Large, heavy bleached (?) wood tables thruout. Wonderful ambience. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. We each had the zucchini frittata - excellent! The breads served with the meal were (as should b) delicious - crusty and yeasty. Later that morning we tried to go back just for coffee with my other daughter, but by 1030 there was a wait. Looking forward to returning there on my next trip to NYC.

“B'fast and lunch treats at open tables”
Reviewed March 27, 2014

Good to very good french pastries, soups, salads, tartines and quiches served at long open tables. Options for vegetarians are good. Prices are in the teens - fine for a quick breakfast or lunch

“Trendy; mostly delicious”
Reviewed February 18, 2014 via mobile

Went with co workers for a snack break. Delicious banana and chocolate millet bread with whipped cream and caramelized bananas — a bit low on the chocolate but a good snack nonetheless. Spiced hot chocolate was fragrant and creamy, but a biting spice at the back of the throat almost suggested pepper and negated the joy of the flavor.

Really trendy atmosphere, with a variety of healthy options- a 6 vegetable quiche looked delicious. I'll be back soon.

“Wonderful Sunday breakfast spot!”
Reviewed February 13, 2014

Love the big farm tables in the back seating area. My daughter and I enjoyed a lovely breakfast here. Highly recommend the quinoa and pear hot cereal or the smoked salmon breakfast. Yummy dark and white chocolate spread for your bread, croissant or toast along with the jam. Very fresh orange juice, and a delicious cafe au lait. Food arrived very quickly but we still felt we could linger over our meal and enjoy a good long chat without being pushed out. Would eat here again and again!

“Delicious”
Reviewed February 11, 2014

This restaurant was delicious. The atmosphere was great and the selection of food choices was fantastic. I am a vegan, but the other 5 in our party are not. The open faced sandwiches were great. The girls loved the Belgian hoot chocolate and I loved the lemonade iced tea.
