Loved the concept - sitting around a big communal table having a delicious meal of Organic Quinoa Tabouli and Mint Lemonade...yum! Went in the interim between breakfast and lunch so when we got our fresh bread we were able to sample some of the delicious jams they have out for breakfast (although we did see someone ask for and receive jam after it had been taken off the table). The service was okay - not super attentive...it seemed like the servers had more customers than they could handle. For us it was not a big deal as we were in food heaven and really didn't need anything additional. Location is very convenient to the Met.

We stopped in here for a quick bite between a morning museum visit and a matinee. My husband ordered the chick pea soup, bowl of berries and a pot of tea. I had the berries, an apricot tart and a pot of tea. I was surprised at how long this relatively simple order took, since surely a pot of soup is simmering away. I suppose the delay was due to the tight space of the kitchen and the small size of the restaurant. But we even had a wait for the pot of tea. It would have been nice to have been sipping this in the meantime -- or at least letting it cool. The soup, when it arrived, was very good; the berries were very fresh; and my tart was yummy. But I think the service good have been quicker and the waiter more attentive.

They used to be good, but now with a change in menu, higher prices, smaller portions, and sloppy service, this place is best avoided. This does not apply to their take-out though, which is still very good.

We were walking through Central Park on our way to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and stopped at the information booth inquiring for a place to eat. We enjoyed our meal...good, freshly prepared salad and sandwiches. You have the option of going to the counter and placing your order, or you can get table service. We opted for table service. Good salad and sandwiches. Enjoyed my Mimosa. Beautiful day in Central Park.

Went for breakfast when it was quiet, had steel-cut oatmeal and berries, juice, toast and coffee. Service was a bit slow but the food was just about perfect. Prices a bit high but not exorbitant.
