In addition to a beer-friendly menu specializing in Black Angus beef, you'll find a museum quality collection of pre-Prohibition beer artifacts, including back-bar sculptures, trays, and photographs. Three spacious private dining rooms, all of which have their own separate bars, are available for parties.

“Great burger not far from Times Square”
Reviewed April 21, 2014

Not our first choice - but Tonys a couple of doors down was packed to capacity.

The menu is not special: it is just ordinary pub food. But it is done fairly well and the house burger was really very good (and the coleslaw and deep-fried pickles were excellent too).

The beers let the place down, however. The waitress was friendly (perhaps overly so), and if you wanted a quick burger then I am sure that you could do much worse.

“Location good; Ambiance BAD”
Reviewed April 10, 2014

Stopped in to this Heartland Brewery Chophouse based on good experiences at other locations. This was on a cold, windy day, and it was not good. The wind blew into the restaurant every time someone opened the door. We ended up leaving before eating as it was just to cold and uncomfortable to stay. I am sure that on a warmer or less windy day, this would be a fine place to eat - just off Broadway, in the theater district, with the Heartland beers and food. Just not today!

“Good Food, Appalling staff attitude”
Reviewed April 7, 2014

This review would have had a good rating if it had not been for the attitude of the waiter. We had a good meal here recently, the food was enjoyable and the restaurant is very pleasant. We were probably only in the restaurant for just over an hour, and the waiter seemed ok. Once we had finished eating, he gave us the bill, which my husband paid and left a good tip. We left the restaurant and were walking down road when the waiter came after us shouting that we hadn't left enough tip. We have never had such an unpleasant experience. I would just like to say, that if you eat here be aware that your tip may not be good enough and verbal abuse may follow. Oh, and by the way, the ungrateful waiter never even thanked us for the tip that we had left.

“Perfect for lunch!”
Reviewed March 31, 2014

We were four sisters in town to see BEAUTIFUL, the Carole King Musical. The musical was great, by the way. Where to eat was the next dilemma. A good friend recommended Heartland Brewery, and we were not disappointed. One sister loves that good old hamburger and fries (hmmmm, good!). Another is strictly a soup and small appetizer kind of girl. Again, delicious. One had fish and the other a big salad. Not one complaint was heard. Service was excellent without being over the top. Our waitress, lovely young woman with short blond hair, welcomed us as if we were friends she hadn't seen in a while. How really nice! And to top it all off, we didn't break the bank.

“good for beer”
Reviewed March 30, 2014 via mobile

We made up a reservation which made sense because we decided to go there at 7 pm. There was only little time for us to wait, we got a fairly good place, ok. The waitress was medium attentive, she was quickly detecting us as tourists and knowing that we would tip her anyway, so that was influencing her. We ordered beer and a burger and some other stuff I can't remember so far. The beer came in after nearly ten minutes, the food was of average quality, the french fries had ben fried too long. The atmosphere was good, so for the food 3 points, the beer 5 points, the service 3 points, and I made 4 of them being friendly.
