“Loved Madison Square Park”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

My son and I just happened upon Madison Square which also has a wonderful park for children. This is a great place for a break with the kiddos in the big city. The park offers several concerts for children along with a playground and beautiful garden.

“Landmark Area”
Reviewed June 1, 2013

This area is home to such iconic buildings as the Flatiron building and Madison Square Garden. Also home to Madison Square Park and a giant post office. The thing that makes it special is every corner you turn seems to be another landmark.

“Oasis in the city”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

Something to do for everyone. The park is maintained beautifully. You have access to the original Shake Shack (go early as the lines get long) as well as e wonderful Italian Market (Eataly). Grab some food. Grab a bench in the sun and enjoy the afternoon.

“Patch of Green”
Reviewed May 20, 2013

Just across the street from Eataly, a perfect photo opt for the flat iron building and a perfect space for large installations. On the day I visited, it was a munchkin patch. It seemed every toddler in NYC was there with their keepers .It was perfect if over crowded according to NJ standards. A place to meet greet and compare your luxury designer kid and trappings. You also had a choice of upscale eating at Eataly or a crush of food stands ala new york. Not to be confused with a mall food court. But guaranteed to serve something you never heard of before. It was family outing New York style. The space is well maintained and interesting. A necessary oasis in a concrete jungle. There is a Shake Shack with the customary line in the middle of the park. I am sure this park has many incarnations according to the day of the week and the time of day, I think it has something to offer everyone. Oh, there is a dog walk totally separate, clean and enough space for an apartment dog to smell some dirt.

“NIce park to watch the tennis in”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

We were there during the US open and wanted to watch the semi on the big screen at the park. We had been at the Quarter finals and were going to the final. We found a seat on the bleachers but moved when we went to get a take out from the Shake Shack, which was yummy. There was plenty space to sit around and people were relaxing with their kids and pets. Great laid back atmosphere and best of all - Andy Murrray won the game. The toilet facilities were portable loos but were clean and useable.
