This is a beautiful small hotel full of character and atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive especially Sean and William at the front desk/concierge.
We loved the location. Just moments from Washington Square and Greenwich Village, and easy access to the subway system. Plenty of nice restaurants and bars close by, we especially enjoyed the sushi restaurant just a couple of doors up.
While certainly small the rooms were cozy and well appointed and spotlessly clean with comfortable beds and great A/C. The linens, toiletries and bathrobes were all top quality.
Our only negative is breakfast which on each of the 3 mornings was chaotic with rather stressed waiting staff. Apart from that small gripe I have to say that we would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend it to friends and families travelling to NYC.

MacPherson redesigned the property by combining the original architecture with updated French influences for a look inspired by Paris and Greenwich Village history. This “baby grand” hotel guest rooms are charmingly petite yet grand in décor. Guest rooms feature herringbone wood floors, brass fixtures, crown moldings, and marble bathrooms. The ground floor of the property features a 100-seat restaurant with a coffee bar. ... more less
