Nice pastries, good drinks and excellent coffee, not too crowded. Central location. With a family of four you save 75% over hotel breakfast and its a lot nicer

Rock Centre Cafe provide excellent service and food at reasonable New York prices. Having visited late in evening the service and quality of food was second to none. It is located in the basement of the The Rockefeller Plaza, a lovely location. Bearing in mind that a large majority of its custiomers are tourists, It retains its quality.

If it's cold outside and you wan to sit for a bit this is theplace. The coffee is smooth and strong. There are stairs so beware if you don't feel like climbing to get to the restroom. There is other food items as well as coffee accessories. If you are meeting up with friends this is a good place to meet. It is nice it in the middle of a big tourist attraction like 30 Rock. I have never had a bad experience at and Dean and Delucas

Having eaten in D&D's Madison Avenue (@65st) place, I just realise that there is a chain of the same name, and my experience may not be exactly right - but I shall continue the praise. One could be excused for thinking that this establishment is meant for the rich and idle of 5th and Madison Ave only, but in fact prices are not sky high. There is an amazing selection of deli-type products (cheeses, salads, salamis, smoked salmon, etc.) plus bread, cakes and coffee, as well as hot soup / sandwich packages. Limited seating, or you can take your food into Central Park. I believe, having read some blogs, that some outlets have even better cooked meal options, whilst others are closer to (dare I mention) Starbucks, but still good. I think the name deserves promoting, if you're near just check one out and decide if you want to move a bit further on for the style better suited to your moment's need.
