Its name says it all. Extensive choice. Low price. Very simple setting. And quick!
Nothing to die for but tasty and spicy.
No alcohol or beer.

“The Best Value for Indian Food”
Reviewed December 28, 2012

We like Indian food very much and once we discovered Curry in a Hurry, this became the place we would go when we wanted Indian food. It is half the price of the Indian restaurants found in midtown and every bit as good. the tandoori chicken and salmon are great. Service is friendly and it caters to a wide variety of customers. The decor is not upscale but is pleasant and there is take out on the first floor.

“Great, well cooked curries but a little shabby”
Reviewed December 25, 2012 via mobile

I was initially disappointed that I couldn't have a cold beer with my curry but the lamb madras was possibly one of the best I've had. The naan was cooked in a proper tandoor oven as was the chicken tikka. Delicious!

The downside was that the whole place was pretty shabby and borderline dirty. The cutlery I was initially given had not been washed at all. Everything seemed tatty which was a shame given that the food and price were so great.

If you are not bothered about a beer, the surroundings and only want a great curry, get on down!

“Great food - Great value”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

You don't go here for the service or decor. You go for the fantastic food and quick service. Rathan (owner) is a hard worker and his food is superb. One celeb is known to pull up in his Maybach to get food from here. Been going here for more than a decade.

“Casual Indian (as the name implies!)”
Reviewed November 12, 2012

A (very) casual and convenient choice for Indian food in an area surrounded by Indian restaurants. It was set up cafeteria-style (although the food is served to you as you order, it's not self-serve). I got a tasty combination platter with tandoori chicken (leg), basmati rice and stewed eggplant, all very good, for just about $10. (Salad at the salad bar was included in the price, but iceberg lettuce didn't appeal.) I sat upstairs -- it was a slow night, so there were only a couple of other diners there, but the waiter was friendly and made some small talk. Overall a good choice if atmosphere is not at all important.
