Description: Cafe Un Deux Trois has been located in the heart of Times Square since 1977. We opened when the neighborhood was still very rough , and quickly became THE brasserie to stop for dinner and drinks before heading off to Studio 54 and Xenon to dance the night away. We were and still are frequented by American and European theater and film actors, as well as politicians, directors, local New Yorkers and tourists from around the world. You will find many a Broadway cast and crew member hanging out after the show on any given night. We recently had a facelift featuring enormous windows and a new color scheme. The food while still classic bistro fare has expanded to include a variety of sandwiches, hamburgers and an extensive breakfast. We have also added a selection of savory and sweet crepes to our dining choices.

Prix fix always a good option. Food is good, comes out quick and is hot. Great tasting and enjoyable. It is a bit loud in the restaurant so enjoy the food.

Friendly staff

I have eaten lunch with friends at Café Un Deux Trois during an annual trip to New York City for almost 20 years. It is a great space, a welcoming atmosphere, that is casual and bustling at the same time. On my recent trip in December 2013, the wait staff did not rush us and allowed us ample time to enjoy cocktails before ordering. We were also waiting for a fifth member of our party who was running late. There was no pressure to "get moving" which to me is the mark of a great restaurant. The food is always good. Most of all us wind up getting the lobster bisque which is a rich, creamy bowl of wonder plus chunks of lobster. I then enjoyed the roasted chicken which is classic French bistro fare, capped off with a 5 star version of crème brulee (another bistro staple). Add a few Manhattans before and during the meal, and it's about as close to a perfect café lunch that you can hope to find.
The overall layout and feel of the space really does lend to the enjoyment. And we have never had a rude waiter or waitress there. I have only eaten lunch there, so I can't comment on anything but lunch, but I strongly recommend it for this meal alone.

Stopped in for quick breakfast on our departure day. Staff was friendly, we were able to enjoy the delicious breakfast selection and perfect coffee. Interesting interior with original tile floor. Stop in!

Great breakfast place in Times Square. Food tasty if unremarkable. Best part: all the staff were smiling and being extra nice. Maybe it's because it was 2 degrees outside and they were happy to be inside! Good service can overcome average food;-) and it did here.
