“No help for the handicapped”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

There is no elevator at this 2 story restaurant, all bathrooms upstairs, steps in front, steep metal stairs (some parts with no railing) leading upstairs. Employees not even willing to offer help. Nice view and good food but real problem to get in or out.

“Hidden gem right on the river”
Reviewed June 4, 2013

We recently went to the Crow's Nest at the Water Club for cocktails on a Friday nite and were pleasantly surprised how nice and relaxing it was at this outdoor cafe / roofdeck. It was probably the least crowded outdoor venue in NYC that I been to in years. The restaurant is still closed due to Hurricane Sandy but is expected to be open in the next week or so. The outdoor menu consists of wines, beers and cocktails. They also have a menu from the grill which includes sliders, etc.
Great place for an evening outdoors and not much more expensive than other outdoor venues - wines range from $10-$14 a glass with cocktails at $15.

“Fabulous views and lovely food”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

I love coming here for a meal when I'm in town. The views over the East River are spectacular and, on a nice day, a drink on the deck is a great experience. The Water Club is the perfect place for a business lunch and a romantic dinner alike.

“On the East River WITH Valet Parking”
Reviewed January 30, 2013

A lovely place to eat and enjoy views of the East River. The food is excellent and the restaurant itself is pretty. What I enjoy most of all is their summer, upstairs and outside cocktail area. It is lovely to sit out, look over the river on one side, and the city on the other while having a cocktail. Nice way to spend a late afternoon with friends.
