Looked better from the outside. French onion soup. Awful gooey cheese like cheap frozen pizza no taste. $10. Disinterested service. Avoid.

We went there around 2:40pm on Saturday. They usually serve brunch until 3pm but they didn't have half the (breakfast/brunch) menu and no lunch.
We ordered steak sandwiches with caramelized onions which were great.
For a side of avocado (1/2 size) they charged me $6!!! I never pay $12 for one avocado ;))

I checked the dinner menu and it was nice. They serve dinner from 5pm so we didn't wait, next time.
But they don't have escargot which I find to be a big deal for me. It's a must in French restaurant.

Service nice and professional.

Get there early in the morning for the best pastry selection. You won't be disappointed! Their egg dishes are also superb. This will always be a favorite stop for us when we visit NYC.

We went for a quick lunch time snack. Service was quick and friendly. I ordered the salmon omelette and partner ordered the ham, egg and cheese with brioche bread. The omelette had more flavour than the standard omelette and the sandwich was amazing. The brioche bread with egg on the top is a must.

This restaurant is just down the street from our hotel the Desmond Tutu Center.

My partner found this while looking for an early morning coffee and recommended it.

Typical neighbourhood gathering spot for take away or eat in.

The wait staff was very attentive, fast, and friendly.

For breakfast either try the daily special or if you want to indulge your self try the eggs Benedict that has the smoked salmon, hollandaise sauce and a sprinkle of caviar.

The pastries and café latte are great as well.

You will not be disappointed!
