Food was very good but the ambience was excellent - especially in the bar. Their windows are ceiling to floor and wall to wall. Drinks were very good - - and pricey. But that is New York ! Tables are extremely close to each other - so you get to get friendly with others if you like.

We had Sushi which was fresh and good, but quite expensive. The place was also cooled down very much which made the dinner rather unconfortable.

Loud music , feels like you have just been invited or are attending a wedding reception. Restaurant is big with many tables , looks realy messy and dirty. Service is very friendly and professional . Food did not satisfy at all . First course of steamed dumplings was nice but main course of home made past with seafood and asparagus was a big disapointement. Pasta do not seem to be home made but that is not the issue here , shrimps where not fresh and sauce was so diluted with water that beside extensive use of lemon juice in the sauce it was very difficult to taste anything else. Price of this light dinner with half bottle of wine was not cheap.

My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary, so before seeing Motown, we were introduced to Blue Fin by my brother-in-law. What a great place!! We split the crab cake sandwich and the tuna burger. Both were delicious. The chef truly knows what to put on each sandwich to make it memorable. The tuna burger, for example, had some wasabi, cucumber stips, etc. I wish I had one right now. For lunch, you also received a free drink if you wanted one (bloody mary, mimosa, belini or champagne). Their french fries, as well as their home made potato chips, were to die for as well. This is certainly a place I would go to again--anytime. While I have read some reviews criticizing the service, I must say our waiter was excellent.
