Seven of us from age 10 to 74 had a rollicking good time. We shared three of the amazing pastas dipped in the Parmesan wheel...wow! The insalata mista was as fresh and flavorful as could be. All entrees were enjoyed. And the desserts were a hit, yummy and delicate tiramisu. We thought the service was superb, very unobtrusive. Great wine too.

20 years and going strong! Pasta Basta has been our regular hang out for great Italian food, pleasant and efficient service, and art that changes regularly! We just love the place. You must try the spaghetti dug out from a 1/2 Parmesan wheel! or (although not on the menu) the spaghetti with squid ink! a delice! for desert, go for the Volcano or the Tiramisu.

This a very discret restaurant and it has been here for 20 years , this Italien is run by Japanese and it is just sooo good I have been coming here for 15 years and the quality is constant . The kitchen is in the middle of the restaurant wich is a + these days as one is not sure of what they serve you in many places . Here it is always fresh and they will cook it to perfection . It is very well priced , make sure to make a reservation for dinner as they are almost always fully booked.
They got a 3 course lunch menu for 24 $ and the portions are generous .

Open space to watch the magic of chefs manipulations, the walls are decorated with Mayuko Okada paintings made of old kimonos.
It is a very good match of quality and value.
They are open at lunch time and offer dinner till 11p.m.

Japanese and Italian do not mix! The food was flavorless, and watery. Not at all Italian. Terrible menu. Portions were too small. Would never go back!
