“Best pizza we ever tasted”
Reviewed December 26, 2012 via mobile

The ingredients ample. The dough is crispy. Food network voted it the best pizza in NYC for 2011. Love it!

“authentic italian pizza”
Reviewed December 12, 2012

Loved this pizza! We cannot get this kind of pizza in Birmingham Al. When we described it to our italian friend here at home he commented that we got the real thing. It was delicious. Loved the crispy thin crust!

“Consistently Excellent Pizza...”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

Every time I go here I get a "Slice with mushroom" and a "Nonna Maria slice"...and they are always excellent. It can get crowded (and hot in the Summer)...but it's worth it. For a busy and popular place...the service is friendly.

“OK...but overrated.”
Reviewed October 23, 2012

Take a two minute walk down Bleecker St. and eat at John's Pizzeria instead...much better.

You can get a slice here, unlike John's, but even though we tried four different kinds between the two of us...neither of us raved about the taste. Maybe they had just been sitting in the warming lights too long but they tasted a little stale. The crust was OK...crisp and light and thin...but the toppings were just mediocre.
I'd say this place is good for a fast bite ...you'll like it for that and won't regret stopping...but you won't be raving about the place and if you are looking for great pizza...go to John's on Bleecker.
