We were looking for a NYC brunch experience and headed to West 46th Street to check out restaurant row. The Hourglass just looked authentic, the patrons seemed to be locals not tourists (like us!), and it had a really cool vibe. At first glance it looks small inside - it is! But it is worth waiting for a table.
I had steak and eggs (which came with asparagus and fried potatoes) at c$20 whilst my wife had the blackened chicken at c$16 - both a bargain and incredibly tasty. Bloody Mary's are $8 and bellinis $5 which is dangerous! The staff are friendly and take time to chat.
Great place to have delicious food and watch the world drift past.
