“Wonderful value for delicious food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 19, 2012 via mobile

This French cooking school churns out delicious food at bargain prices. The best value in NYC. The atmosphere and decor are a bit bland, but definately worth it!

“A mixed review”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 18, 2012

Went here for a special meal with another 7 people. On the whole it was a very nice meal. The waiter we had was a bit odd which we thought rather amusing.
My starter really disappointed me, I ordered Tempura vegetables and when they turned up they were very pale and soggy, not crisp as they should be. My main of beef was nice but I had a vein of fat running though my meat that should have been cut out (a fellow diner has the same dish and hers looked perfect). The caramelised onion accompaniment was tasty though. The stars of the meal were the desserts, I had a deliciously short ginger tart filled with lovely creme brulee.
As we were celebrating two Birthdays we were then presented with a couple of complimentry desserts to share. As we had all had plenty to eat we couldn't really do them justice but it was a nice touch that we appreciated.

“Best find in NY!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 17, 2012 via mobile

We visited L'ecole on our last day in NY, I wished we'd gone earlier. We had the 3 course lunch which was outstanding! By far the best place we ate in all NY. The prices are very reasonable and the quality is unbeatable. The service was very good and professional. I had pork tenderloin and ginger Creme Brule tart for dessert! My husband had pinapple cheesecake equally as good. Amazing! They have illy coffee too. You will not be disappointed eating here!

“Service outstanding”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 11, 2012

We were in the area and had lunch at L'Ecole. The food and service were outstanding. This was our first visit there and I would recommend it. Appetizer and entrees were superb and desserts were adequate.

“Wait Staff was upbeat and friendly. Food very good.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 10, 2012

A family long weekend in NYC took us to this restaurant. It was worth the effort for us to get there. The wait staff was great! Food was thankfully in modest proportions and very good. Price was amazingly reasonable. Would definitely go again. Be sure to make reservations.
