We reserved at Lattanzi for a Wednesday after seeing The Cher Show on Broadway. We had never been to this restaurant and really were looking forward to a well established NYC Italian restaurant. Well, this is it! We were greeted quickly and seated right away. The reason for a four star rating as opposed to five, is the location of our table. It was a small table for two in a corner with the kitchen and waiters’ service station right behind us and an entrance to another dinning room behind on the other side. It was very crazy having waiters going back and forth throughout our whole meal, practically brushing against our table. Besides that issue, we loved the restaurant! Luis, our waiter, was excellent! The rest of the staff could not have been more efficient. My water glass was filled many times, crumbs were whisked away, etc. The food was wonderful. We ordered two pasta meals, a salad, a side of broccoli and then chocolate mouse for dessert. Everything was exceptionally delicious. We can’t wait to return on another evening in the city.

All people should be treated equally. Had Ezri as a waiter. He was attentive to other tables, but not to us - not even providing the specials or paying attention to us. When I mentioned this to another staff member, he pretended not to speak any English. Food was mediocre. Would not recommend.

We enjoyed a dinner for two after a show on a Sunday evening. The signature artichoke starter is well done. Salads were well plated, and as expected. One of us had the branzino, which was well cooked; the vegetables on the side were a little oily but tasty. The second entree, Pollo Milanese, was excellent. The Napoleon was well done, and the Fragole con Zabaglione was a very nice sweet note to end the meal.

The restaurant was full, but not too noisy. Tables were close, as they are in most NYC locations, but we didn't feel crowded at all. While we had a reservation, we did see a few walk-ins get seated.

We found this hidden gem quite by accident. We stopped for a lunch break whilst sightseeing. A intimate and relaxing ambience coupled with helpful friendly staff. The food was absolutely delicious- some of the best tasting Italian food I have ever had. Definitely worth a visit .

This is my second time to eat here and it was still as good as the first time. I guess my only complaint was that there wasn't as many different types of bread that they brought but it was still good. The service was very good.
