“Dinner before a show”

My daughter recommended this place. The food was excellent and service was quick and amazing. We made reservations for 6:00 and were back in Time Square by 7:20 which include dinner and the subway ride back. We took the One train back and forth and it was quick and easy.

“Good bar”
Reviewed April 8, 2013 via mobile

Popped in a couple of times for a pint on recent stay. Friendly atmosphere; your standard 'sports bar' layout. Did not eat here but menu looked good. Worth calling in.

“Nicer than it looked”
Reviewed April 5, 2013

From the street, Mustang Harry's looked OK but when we walked through the door, we knew we were in for a great dinner. Not having a lot of experience with downtown New York dinning, we didn't know what to expect. The service was great and the food even better. The prices were extremely reasonable for the quality of the meal. The bread pudding for dessert was wonderful. Even my spilled beer didn't do anuthing to dampen the enjoyment.

“quick service and adequate food”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

We zipped in here for a quick dinner before a Knicks game. The bar was full of knicks fans which didn't slow down the waiting staff at all. The food was ok, nothing to write home about, but fulled a hole so as to speak.

the waiters did their best, but one could see the strain of game day.

Despite us having a main course each, and one or two beers, the bill still came to $130... how?

worth a visit though.

“Home from home”
Reviewed March 22, 2013

This place really helped my wife and i have a great time in New York, found Harrys on our first night of our visit on way back to our hotel, right away we felt at home when we were served by a fellow Scot, this place has a very long bar, loads of seats for the weary walker, nice booths take 4-6 people, has seperate dining area from bar, more seats and tables at back of bar and also upstair dining area,
We only had one bar snack on our 6 or 7 visits, was very good, a good menu offers pleanty choise for all tastes,
Found all staff very friendly, willing to chat to you when they get a quiet moment, give out advice on local area etc,
would like to thank Keir, Cormack, Chris, David and lassie with nice red hair, the manager also found time to talk to us and even bought us a drink or 2, for that many thanks.

Would reccomend this bar/diner to all, a great place, thanks guys
