We stayed for a week at the Michelangelo Hotel almost next door. The steak houses on this road do not have priced menu's outside and this one only displays a lunch menu so had no idea what it would cost, just knew it would be expensive and it was. $200 for 1 salad starter, porterhouse steak for 2, 2 sides, bottle of wine and tip. But it was worth it.
From the outside it never looked busy but once inside there are quite a few rooms, the place was busy and buzzing which was surprising. Service is very old school, very attentive and formal, our waiter was excellent.
The steak was amazing, perfectly cooked, perfectly served. Vegetables were cooked just right too. We don't get steak like this in England very often, I always find steak hit and miss, if it is not served straight away then all is lost. I got the impression that steak here is perfec every time. Our best meal of the trip and memorable for the quality of food and service.
