“Don't do it”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

2 of our party of 4 had food poisoning the next day, the other 2 were slightly ill. Don't believe the promises given by the spruiker at front full of lies. The chicken was off. The gnocchi were definately not home made

“SO GOOD!”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

I ate here alone on a business trip and it was fantastic! The doorman was awesome, my server was great, and my chicken fettuccine that they happily added bacon to was heaven!

“Very Nice”
Reviewed January 2, 2013

This was a very nice restaurant. The only downside I saw was they take a long time to come over and ask if we would like coffee or dessert. Other than that, the food was fantastic, the price was right, and the atmosphere certainly felt authentic. I recommend this restaurant to future Little Italy goers.

“Excellent little cafe restaurant”
Reviewed December 25, 2012

We came here for christmas lunch. It's pretty, friendly staff, and the food is decent enough and fairly priced. For three of us, having three courses and drinks it came to $150 inclusive of tip which is decent value for New York!

“Tiny and Terrific”
Reviewed December 10, 2012

In the heart of Little Italy, surrounded by dozens of good restaurants, this little gem is easy to miss, but worth the search. Small and narrow with grapes hanging from the ceiling, this place is not only cute for tourists, but the superb food will keep locals coming back again and again. On a Saturday afternoon at 2:00 PM, the place was filled. While a little noisy for serious conversation, it was fun and alive. The service was good, the food excellent and the atmosphere memorable. I suggest you try the special "Joey's Hot Antipasto" appetizer. Clams, shrimp, eggplant, calamari, fried mozzarella and more. Every bite was delicious, as were the linguini with white clam sauce, the veal specials, and the vodka sauce. The portions are big and the prices are moderate. A really good time was had by all - too bad we were too full for the deserts, they looked delicious.
