“Very Nice”
Reviewed January 2, 2013

This was a very nice restaurant. The only downside I saw was they take a long time to come over and ask if we would like coffee or dessert. Other than that, the food was fantastic, the price was right, and the atmosphere certainly felt authentic. I recommend this restaurant to future Little Italy goers.

“Excellent little cafe restaurant”
Reviewed December 25, 2012

We came here for christmas lunch. It's pretty, friendly staff, and the food is decent enough and fairly priced. For three of us, having three courses and drinks it came to $150 inclusive of tip which is decent value for New York!

“Tiny and Terrific”
Reviewed December 10, 2012

In the heart of Little Italy, surrounded by dozens of good restaurants, this little gem is easy to miss, but worth the search. Small and narrow with grapes hanging from the ceiling, this place is not only cute for tourists, but the superb food will keep locals coming back again and again. On a Saturday afternoon at 2:00 PM, the place was filled. While a little noisy for serious conversation, it was fun and alive. The service was good, the food excellent and the atmosphere memorable. I suggest you try the special "Joey's Hot Antipasto" appetizer. Clams, shrimp, eggplant, calamari, fried mozzarella and more. Every bite was delicious, as were the linguini with white clam sauce, the veal specials, and the vodka sauce. The portions are big and the prices are moderate. A really good time was had by all - too bad we were too full for the deserts, they looked delicious.

“Great food and very quaint”
Reviewed December 5, 2012

Small group of traveling after Thanksgiving. We went to little italy and it was very slow that evening so all of the restaurants were trying to get customers to come in. I cant remember why we decided on them...being that almost all of the restaurants were cackling to get us to switch to their place. I think we were tired from all of the walking and hungry and we felt bad for the guy outside trying to get customers. It was cute, quaint....maybe a tad bit too dark inside. But, it was very romantic in there too. Food was wonderful. Not large portions...but then were given lunch menu pricing discount at 6pm dinner. But, the portions were still enough. Prices were very reasonable....and I most certainly would go back again if I ever came back to the area.

“We loved it!”
Reviewed December 2, 2012

There are some downsides to this restaurant. But the food is great. Portions are the right size. Not too large. Since we were traveling that works out better for us.

The tables are very close to each other so you may get to know your neighbor more than you would like to.

The waiters are a bit slow, but their assistants are excellent. We received better service from the assistant, as well as more conversation. I wish I could have tipped him instead.
