Description: Mudville 9 has been family owned and operated since 1977. In 1991, the current concept was born. The menu back then was comprised of 10 flavors of chicken wings, hamburgers and chicken sandwiches. We have since expanded the menu to include a large assortment of American bar and grill foods including ribs, wraps, salads, starters and more.

I was staying at the hotel across the street during opening weekend of the NFL and wanted to watch the Sunday night game, which had the home team of the New York Giants. We arrived early and my two friends wanted to go to our hotel and change, and the waiter let me take a booth to myself and stay there for about 30 minutes by myself, rather than make us wait for the full party even though they were sure to be packed for the game. He even said, "This is your booth for the night." We had drinks which were good; they have a full bar and a big beer list. We had already eaten so we didn't eat but the food around us looked like your usual bar food and smelled good. The crowd was friendly even though our team was the opposing team to the NY Giants. We all had a good time and would go back again. It's a very laid back bar with friendly staff and plenty of TV screens to see the game.

Had a meal here while in NYC. The service was good - actually the food came out VERY quickly. The food itself was good but pretty ordinary.

The beer list is extensive.

Overall, it is an OK place and seems to be packed with Wall Street types blowing off some steam after work. I would not go back but only because there are 1000s of other places in NYC I have not tried yet.

We stopped in on a hot day for drinks and appetizers. The food was average but they have an impressive beer collection. Prices were on the high side for a downtown NYC bar. Good place for meeting friends to watch a sporting event.

The waitress at this noisy, busy bar was amazingly cross and rude. The food was ok but the whole experience was poor. Not recommended.
