“Great mediterranean!”
Reviewed July 27, 2014

Can't say enough good things about this place. The staff was extremely professional. Had a glass of Turkish wine from a bottle that had been open a little too long, and they gave me a fresh glass without a question. The green salad was enormous and delicious, and the stuffed grape leaves were superb--as good as I've had anywhere. Don't miss this place.

“Dont let the storefront kid you.....this is great.”
Reviewed July 8, 2014

Shared a Sunday meal with family at the TK. We were told its very good and we were quite pleased. The exterior makes you think diner, but the inside is classy, smart, terrific service and some excellent Med. food we have ever had. Its reasonable and the staff is very welcoming and very helpful explaining some of the offerings if you are not familiar.

We will go again....a great little find in Murray Hill!

“You don't have to be a Turk to enjoy Turkish Kitchen”
Reviewed June 29, 2014

We were a party of 4. Went there on verbal recommendation. The humus appetizer - frankly, I had better at home from a Costco container. They must have had a shortage of garlic and lemon juice. Humus in fact is more Lebanese, Syrian, Israeli and Egyptian, not Turkish. But....it got better from there. The Sis Kebab and Islim Kebab were right on the mark, good size portions served (by request) with Bulgar instead of rice. Another disappointment was the Baklava desert. Three pinky joint sized pieces for $7.00.......Come on Turks..............Service was very good (by a Russian pretty maiden (surprisingly). check for 4 was $138.27 which for NYC is just about right. You are not going to find a dinner for four the under $100 in the Big Apple.
