The food was slightly above average but the service was pretty good. The atmosphere is lovely. We had a seat right next to the railing so we had a great view of the main hall. We shared a Caesar salad to start, even though we ordered a wedge salad but I didn't even bother correcting him. We also shared the garlic bread with Gorgonzola fondue. That was pretty good, actually. I had filet mignon, medium, with bernaise sauce. The steak was just ok...felt very average. I was pretty disappointed. It also felt over cooked. My date had the bone in ribs eye and it just looked better than my steak. It had a nicer char, was juicier and was cooked properly. The bernaise sauce was just average also. We shared lyonnaise potatoes. They were ok. We also shared the black truffle creamed spinach. That was actually quite good. For dessert, we shared the brownie with ice cream. I have no complaints about that! Overall, it was a nice evening but I have no desire to return.
