My friend and I dined in the bar which I though would be a little more casual but it was still very formal and seemed to be an older, corporate crowd. The building is lovely and doesn't look like it's changed much since the 20s and the bar ceiling had all american toys and sporting paraphernalia hanging from it which I thought was a cool decorative touch. You get a complimentary bread basket on arrival. I ordered the cocktail which had lavender in it but it had way too much and was like eating pot pourri. For my main I had the vegetarian tasting menu which was delicious...the asparagus tempura was cooked to perfection. The service was great. Probably more of a date place though or somewhere to take your grandparents!
