This past weekend a friend of mine had her birthday dinner party at Supper. I was skeptical at first, with the cost being $75 per person (a lot more than I typically spend on a meal out) but it was beyond worth it!

We had reservations for our own private room for a party of 15 for 9:30. At 9:30, they would not seat us because our entire party had not yet arrived. Once our entire party arrived (around 9:45) they still would not seat us because the party before us had not yet left. We were not seated until 10-10:15. This was the only downfall of the night.

The meal was served family style and included unlimited beer and wine. Because we were seated late, they threw in a round of tequila shots and Prosecco. Each course consisted of at least 2 dishes. 2 salads (beets, arugula with goat cheese-AMAZING) and a dish called Burrata, which is basically a ball of fresh ricotta cheese wrapped in fresh mozzarella served over a bed of tomatoes, olive oil, and balsamic vinaigrette....I HAVE NEVER TASTED ANYTHING SO DELICIOUS IN MY LIFE! The other courses included veal meatballs, salmon, chicken parm, kale gnocchi and lemon butter spaghetti. As a vegetarian, I was very satisfied with the options. They kept the food coming all night! Highly recommend!

I've eaten at Supper a few times and always leave wondering why it's become such a hotspot. The food is fine, but the menu is small and I've always found the service to be just adequate. This time, they seated us right next to the open kitchen. I would normally find that fun, but it was so loud that I could barely hear myself think.

Luckily, this area of Alphabet City has become a bit of an Italian restaurant hub and there are fantastic options right around every corner - Max, Perbacco, Il Bagatto.

Stayed on the same street and ate here twice. The ambience snd food was fantastic. first night had risotto with lemon and the family had a range of pasta dishes and all were cooked to perfection. The starters were great, especially the Tuscan salad and pate. The pannacotta was to die for! The next time we ate there we tried different pastas and all were great. Highly recommend eating here for great food.

Great find in the East Villiage for Italian. The food is authentic, the ambiance unique and, overall, this is a great place to spend a night out. We had a party of 5 and were seated in the back room of the restaurant. After winding through the restaurant and the wine room, we arrived back there and were given the option to play our our music via the stereo system in the room. The service was very attentive and friendly. For prime time on a Saturday the food came relatively quickly although we never felt rushed. Great find... highly recommended.

This was delicious food well worth waiting for. Octopus was amazing. Delicious kale gnocchi and also cheese fondue with a poached egg in. Really tasty.

The wait on a Thursday night at 8 was ENORMOUS. No bookings for under 8 people. Nice drink in the bar next door though it was understaffed.

No prices on the menu which is fine thought avoid the truffle perhaps as it adds $40.

Overall though: delicious food!
