Description: The Grill Room at The Four Seasons Restaurant is truly a New York phenomenon. Attracting New Yorkers for generations, it's played host to every major social event from JFK's 45th birthday party to Manhattan's last Grammy Awards celebration. Open Monday through Friday, the Grill Room is home to the original New York "Power Lunch." At night the Grill caters to those interested in flavorful cocktails and a bite to eat within Phillip Johnson's one-of-a-kind design.

“One of NY's Top 10!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 8, 2005

I think the previous review is a little confused--we're talking about the restaurant not the hotel here. The 4 Seasons is a NY landmark & whether you go for lunch at the Grill Room or dinner at the Pool room--it will be an experience, albeit pricy, you won't soon forget. Service is top notch & some of my personal favorites over the years have been the Caesar, chateaubriand, stuffed butterflied lamb (I even have the recipe which I do at Easter usually), & the duck just to name a few. Don't miss it!

“Four Seasons - Top Notch!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 1, 2004

We decided upon The Four Seasons during our stay in NYC July 24-27th and it was worth every cent. The service at The Four Seasons was top-notch from the doormen who never missed opening the door for us (while you were still steps away from the door and providing us with umbrellas) to the concierge and housekeeping. When we arrived they had age-appropriate gifts in the room for the kids and the Bose stereos were playing relaxing music (after quite a hectic drive in from Boston). We did have to book their own room as they do not have accomodations for four, however their room was 1/2 price. The rooms actually have a private locked-off hallway. So we felt very safe in leaving our room doors open in case the our youngest needed us during the night. We can't say enough about the concierge. They were all very professional and knew everything about the city. We traveled with our 16 and 9 year old sons and they recommended a great restaurant for us...Balthazar in Soho. We enjoyed an excellent meal. The rooms are very large and have many nice touches and lots of room for clothing, shoes etc. The marble bathroom has a TV in it and the tub fills in 60 seconds...so you can't leave it once it starts to fill! Bvgari toiletries were a nice touch as well. We hardly ever saw housekeeping...our rooms were always made-up and turned-down when we were out. Loved the hotel and will stay there when we return.
