“Our favourite restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 27, 2010

Always friendly and helpful, great food (good nightly specials too) and it's no surprise that it's one of New York's favourite restaurants. It's ours, too! The lobster shepherd's pie is particularly remarkable.

“Outstanding !”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 14, 2010

Just off Union Square in what looks like a dodgy side street. We pulled up outside and it didn't look much.....we were greatly mistaken !.

A smallish selection on the menu but extremely interesting and all the flavour combinations worked unbelievably well.

Outstanding quality of food and the best service that we've had in New York...and thats saying something....our waiter was not 'in your face' but a young unnasuming guy ..but was always just there when you needed him ...he was a 100% knowledgeable on the entire menu and also the wines that we had selected....if only we could clone these New York waiters and ship them over to London.

We mentioned in passing that it was my daughter's birthday.....when we left she got a handwritten card from the chef wishing her a Happy Birthday..nice touch at short notice..

Anyway, we left at 11:00pm and it was still buzzing.

We will return ....
