Great experience at Daniel. The food and service is well worth the price it commands, and although getting a reservation was tricky I'm glad we made it happen. The only disappointment was the so called sommelier. We didn't recognize many of the French wine selections and asked for help selecting a bottle. She basically just asked what we usually drink then pointed us back to the California wines. I expect more when spending $100 on a bottle. The food more than made up for it, and we got some great cocktails from the bar. Our favorite was the beef 2 ways. Also keep in mind the cheese cart is waiting on the sideline, a treasure and an experience in itself. For a slight up charge I was able to make 4 selections from the cheese cart in place of dessert. Much appreciated!!
