“Amongst the Best in the City”
Reviewed July 20, 2013

I've been to Daniel’s a couple of times and every time I went there, the evening was just unsurpassed! The first time I ordered Trio of Hamachi – did not know what to expect but it was magnificent. The second time I went for Swiss Chard and Cloumage Ravioli and once again – I ate it with such a great appetite! Some say it is too expensive but I disagree. For the quality and the fact that there are not that many places in NY, that serve such delicious French cuisine, I would be ready to even pay a bit more than they ask!

“Just.....Perfect”
Reviewed July 19, 2013 via mobile

The best dinner experience we have had so far, 8 course with wine pairing, we got total 16 different plates of food and some surprises, all of them tasted fantastic, not a single dull moment. We were taken good care of by the wait staff, service was top notch, wine selection was a perfect match. After 4 and a half hour we left Daniel with some little money for the cab, but with a big smile on our faces:) we will be back some day....

“Engagement Dinner”
Reviewed July 16, 2013

It has to be the most incredible meal we have had to date!!
It is worth every cent/$ spent here...... The BEST 3 michelin star restaurant we have eaten in!! Save up and go there for a special occasion, it will not disappoint.
As the restaurant knew we were coming for a special occasion the chef sent an extra dessert with congratulations written on the plate.
Impeccable service and food to die for. We will go back :)

“Wish I could say all fantastic!!”
Reviewed July 16, 2013

Arrived Sat at 6:30pm with great anticipation. Highly recommended by business partners. Ordered a glass of champagne to start the evening. From the beginning, we felt like their goal was to turn over our table as quickly as possible. Shocked puts it mildly!!!!! We slowed the process down by eating very very slowly. They got the message. We did the full tasting with wine pairings. The food was wonderful, however, one of our servers never made eye contact (he looked out over the crowd as he described what we were about to eat) and spoke so quickly we had no idea what we were about to enjoy. That was solved by pointing to each item on the plate and saying "and what is that". We ended the evening on a much better note but only because we took control of the experience. Our meal over $750. There should not have been a single issue with the evening.

“The Meal of a Lifetime”
Reviewed July 15, 2013

My daughter-in-law and I went to Daniel 4 times and each time we left feeling like royalty. The food is out of this world and so beautifully plated that you feel you should admire it and not eat it but once you start eating it is absolutely delicious. Service is impeccable - and if you are lucky as we were Chef Daniel will actually come to say hello to you at your table. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to feel like royalty and enjoy a once in a lifetime meal.
