Description: Since 1963, Victor’s Cafe, a family-run New York City landmark, continues to be a culinary voyage to Cuba offering an incomparable experience with its harmony of authentic cuisine, hospitality and stylish environment. Victor’s has the unique distinction of being both luxurious and casual, serene and high energy, family oriented and romantic, exotic yet familiar. The cuisine at Victor’s includes the most delicious, authentic dishes combined with the restaurant’s exclusive creations that represent the evolution of Cuban cuisine. Signature dishes include Victor’s famous black bean soup, shredded beef (“Ropa Vieja”), and roast suckling pig (“Lechon”). The restaurant itself is divided into three spacious dining rooms, accented with warm lighting, colorful Cuban art, tropical ceiling fans, and lofty sky-lit ceilings. The restaurant's Cuba Lounge is intimate and warm, featuring a tapas menu and a variety of traditional Cuban cocktails such as Mojitos and Sangria.

“Lounge Drinks”
Reviewed June 3, 2014 credit card Amex Card Member Review

Took a friend out for birthday drinks. We sat at the bar in the lovely intimate lounge. The drinks were good but a bit overpriced at $15 for a "special" mojito. We only had a plate of appetizers which were delicious. There was a small combo playing Spanish music and the room was full and buzzing by the time we left. A very nice venue but a little steep for just drinks if you're going to spend a few hours.

“Food was fantastic - and the staff were also”
Reviewed June 2, 2014

We stumbled across this place when out for dinner - had never had Cuban food before so we thought we would give it a try. The staff were great, friendly and helpful. We had the mixed entree for two which was fantastic - a selection of 5 different Cuban delights. The mains were also amazing. The wine we wanted was not available, but the waiter made another suggestion that was just perfect - all in all a brilliant night.

Bland food. Terrible service. Overpriced. Avoid this place. Once upon a time it might have been good, but no more

“Great Preshow Dinner”
Reviewed May 28, 2014

We picked Victor's Cafe based on other reviews from tripadvisor also its location near the Theater that we were seeing our show. The service was excellent. The waiter was aware that we had tickets. He was timely getting our food to us, without making us feel rushed. We never had an empty glass of water and the food was AWESOME! I have to recommend the Churros dessert sampler to end your meal off right!

“Excellent & genuine Cuban food”
Reviewed May 28, 2014

I love Victor's Cafe! Best "croqueta", tamal, and Cuban specialties in New
York . Great service and a fun and happy atmosphere near the Broadway theatres. Highly recommended.
