“Good Pizza”
Reviewed August 8, 2014

We wanted to eat some NY Pizza so we tried John's Pizzeria as we were walking in Times Square. It was good pizza. Service was good. I wouldn't recommend the garlic rolls for the appetizer as they were so overloaded with fresh garlic. Even my husband, who loves garlic, thought that it was too much. There wasn't much cheese to them at all. We had meatball, ham and mushroom on our pizza. It was no great shakes and probably won't be the pizza place that we return to in NYC.

“Tasty, great ambience, QUICK, inexpensive”
Reviewed August 7, 2014 via mobile

A group of us were in NYC to see Cinderella on Broadway and we needed a place to eat. We wanted somewhere close to the theater with a great NYC vibe and delicious food that would not cost more than $20 per person. John's more than delivered! We were seated fast. Our waiter was very friendly and efficient with our order. The converted church is as gorgeous as everyone says with the giant mural and the stained glass ceiling. We ate salads, garlic cheesy bread and several different pizzas. It was all very good. I'd definitely go again.

“Yummy pizza & great service”
Reviewed August 6, 2014

We were a little nervous to go into this restaurant when it was so busy, but it only took about 20 minutes to get a seat. The server was quick and attentive and in a huge busy restaurant, our pizzas came out very fast and were delicious & hot.

My only critique was the bathroom was small and quite gross. They need an attendant.

“Delicious pizzas, but...”
Reviewed August 6, 2014 via mobile

Great pizza. Simply delicious. Crust perfectly crispy. Calamari to die for.
On the other hand...
The bathrooms were very dirty. Paper everywhere, the men's smelled horribly.
Service was spotty. They forgot our salad, and never even apologized. Maybe this is NYC, but I found their lack of courtesy problematic.

“Great food, great price!”
Reviewed August 5, 2014 via mobile

This place would be perfect for families as you share the food so it's not so expensive.

Don't be afraid to make your own pizza either!
