“Only Time Allowed to eat Pizza in Church”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 1, 2013

Great pizza in a building that was a former church (there are some stained glass windows that still exist). Also good appetizers and panini sandwiches. Busy place especially before and after Broadway shows but the wait is usually not too bad. Wait staff very good. Prices for NYC pretty good. Only negative is bathrooms are very tiny and could be cleaner.

“Delicious!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 1, 2013

Many rave over Grimaldi's in Brooklyn, but I think John's is better. The pizza was delicious and reasonably priced, and the restaurant has a great location.

“Classic New York pizza”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 1, 2013

We were in NY for the U.S. Tennis Open, staying in Times Square. We were looking for a simple, classic, thin crust New York style pizza, and had read good reviews about John's Pizzeria. We were not disappointed. Great location, fun restaurant in an old theater, and very, very good food. The garlic rolls were superb, the Ceasar salad very good, and the pizza perfect. And we got out with a $45 bill!

“This Is the Best Pizza in NYC”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 31, 2013

We have all heard that this city or that city has the best pizza. I've tried them all...John's is the absolute best. This is real pizza, not the stuff with a heavy, doughy crust, thick sauce or tasteless cheese. Picture a perfect blend of thin crispy crust, light sauce and cheese. I bet I go more than once this trip to NYC. Worth the wait- whatever it is!
