Three who had not made reservations were in this neighborhood, which has many fine places to go. We thought "Should be good, it's the West Village." The $10 Chardonnay we ordered 3 of, I remember as slow in coming and not delicious. After White Gazpacho, hearts of palm and baked brie appetizers, we had mussels, ok, and veal medallions, I've had better every time I've ever ordered. My guest had salmon - it was socially difficult for him to appraise. With some more wine, it came to $174 before tip. Not crowded, so no noise level problems. Decor is nothing to remark on.
