Description: Pearl Oyster Bar opened as a 21-seat Seafood restaurant in 1997 to extraordinary acclaim. It was the first establishment in NYC to serve New England cuisine and popularized the lobster roll, never before served in New York. Pearl was also responsible for the upscale oyster bar trend and dining at the bar. The restaurant expanded in 2003 and is considered a New York Classic. Celebrating our 20th anniversary in 2017.

Excellent blue point oysters, clams, shrimps and one hell of a delicious lobster roll! Tiny restaurant but good service.

This place is a great seafood bar , everything ranging from sushi rolls to lobster . It has a nice vibe to it and the service was good except waiting for a while for some fish tacos . The food was amazingly good its a little expensive but forget that its well worth it.

Small place between Bleecker and west 4th streets , recommended to us by friends, pearl was a wonderful dining experience. Bucket of steamers, lobster roll and seared sea scallops were excellently prepared and presented. Great selection of wines by the glass, all reasonably priced by NYC rates. Our server was efficient and made helpful suggestions. They also had whole broiled fish of the day that looked yummy. Will return!

The second time here and it was just as good as the first! Fresh steamed long neck clams, raw oysters and lobster roll. Life is always good at the Pearl Oyster House!

From Seattle-first (and third) visit to Pearl in the West Village on Cornelia Street. (For any non locals, you can eat only at restaurants on Cornelia Street and be happy your entire visit. Small, superb fresh seafood-not just oysters. Had their famed lobster roll which was excellent, then on next visit had lobster stew which was beyond this world. Best seat in the house is at the counter watching chef do his magic. Nice, efficient and funny staff-welcomed us back and remembered we had been there recently. If you want to feel like a local in the West Village, you've found your home at Pearl.
