Description: In it's Rockefeller Center location, Alfredo of Rome joins its award winning predecessors at Epcot Center in Walt Disney World and the original Alfredo of Rome where in 1914,the original fettuccine Alfredo was invented. New York's new 8000 square foot installment offers a contemporary twist on the classic Roman fare that made Alfredo a household name and, of course, the irresistible only original Fettuccine Alfredo. Celebrities and heads of state have made Alfredo's their home away from home. Alfredo N.Y. is no exception. What attracts them? May be it's the heralded authentic Italian cuisine. Or perhaps their often talked about wine list (winner of the Wine spectator award from 20001-2005.)Certainly the Hirschfield’s adorning the walls can't help but draw attention.

“Good ambience and italian food!”
Reviewed January 26, 2013

I really enjoy this restaurant, the location is exclellent, the waiters are very friendly, the ambience is nice, and the food is really good! The Ossobuco, veal ravioli and tiramisu with mascarpone are worth trying, not to mention the alfredo pasta.

“Not worth the price”
Reviewed January 20, 2013

The restaurant is located near the Rockefeller Center
We came here in December and had been to a show and had come here for dinner. The restaurant was not that busy but had to wait for any attention to take our order then waiting for it to arrive.Eventually our starter plates were taken away and another long wait for the main course ,but the waiter brought us our sweet ,when we said we were waiting for our main course ,no apologies just picked up our plates and another wait.I had the signature dish Fettuccini Alfredo which was quite tasteless. The waiter we had seemed so disinterested. The food, service and overall experience was deffinately not inline with the price charged and we went back to the hotel hungry !
We would not recommend or visit this restaurant again.

“Good, reliable Italian food”
Reviewed January 19, 2013

I've been here several times, and always find the meals very good. Pasta is always a great choice. The pizzas are good. So too are various salads and appetizers. I have never tried the main plates, so my rating does not apply to those. It ia a bit pricey, but in the heart of Rock Center, so one expects that given the location.

“Bravo”
Reviewed January 16, 2013

Can't beat the location in Mid-town Manhattan.

While the menu selection is somewhat limited if you compare to other restaurant in the area, the food preparation, presentation and quality is very good. The risotto with pesto and scallops was abundant and very tasty. Would definitely go back.

“Just the right choice”
Reviewed January 14, 2013

We were worried about finding a good restaurant in the theatre district that wasn't touristy or expensive, along with the fact that we didn't have a reservation. We happened across Alfredo of Rome. The staff was friendly greeting us, seating us, and was very warm to us throughout. The waiter was outstanding and fun, making it quite an experience for us along with watching him with the other tables. The food was magnificent and very reasonable. The unique way they make the fettuccine alfredo was great for a pre-show meal. The wine list is very stout and the waiter did a good job suggesting one. Overall, we were realy happy we came across this place.
