The four in our party ordered both of the signature items in this small and bustling Ethiopian eatery. One was the Taste of Sheba Combination Sampler consisiting of five beef and two lamb dishes (but no poultry selections). The other was the meatless version of the sampler consisting of seven of their vegetarian selections. The large platter served with the traditional bread of Ethiopia - injera - which is a spongy bread ideal for dipping and scooping these delicacies - was enough to happily fill all four of us. We had expected to treat this as an appetizer and then order main courses, but it was enough food to skip ordering any entrees. Everyone enjoyed each of the fourteen items on the platter as well as the hands only-no utensil experience. The only minor negative was the slow service. There appeared to be too many diners for the too few serving staff. The cocktails and wine took a long time to arrive, but the slow service did not detract too greatly from the overall pleasant dining experience.

Had a meat and a veggie sampler. A bit spicier than I'm used to, but delicious. Prices were very reasonable too.

We had no idea what to expect or indeed to order when we visited; the waitress was very helpful for us; she suggested that the item which combines 6 or 7 dishes would only feed one, so we also ordered a second thing (all of which was served together), however the combo was definitely enough for two, especially in light of the fact that we had ordered starters to precede it. No cutlery here, so it was a little different from your standard restaurant, but the food was good quality. Note that although we were told the food is served with "bread", the food was in fact served with some kind of pancake; not the type of bread we were expecting!

Prices are pretty high although it is a pricey area. If you're not convinced, the so-called "Restaurant Row" is just around the corner with plenty of other options.
