Heard many great things about Ferrara's and decided to try it out after dinner at L'Asso. Yes, everything is a little pricey, but it's absolutely worth it. I have never had cannoli so good! Long lines at times, but certainly worth a try!

A beautiful display. Just looking at the display sets your taste buds yearning to try as much as possible. The cannoli were amazing as were the cookies that I tried.

After dinner at L'Asso and a show at the Bowery Ballroom, we stopped here for a late night snack based upon the reviews. Each of us got a cannoli ($4 ea.) and a chocolate cheesecake truffle ($2 ea.). Note that the prices we were charged were higher than the prices posted, which were respectively $3 and $1.50. The truffle was delicious all around. The cannoli filling was excellent, but the shell was only mediocre. Overall, both were very good, but not nearly good enough to justify the price. Overcharging customers is a poor business practice as well and one that you will see reported in a number of reviews for this establishment. The bottom line is that Ferraro's is worth a stop for the food, provided that you don't mind paying more than the posted prices, which are somewhat exorbitant to begin with.

Authentic Italian desserts in all their rich goodness. The only complaint I have is with the staff who refused to let me sit down for 5 minutes while I ate my order. At the time I had a health problems which prevented me from being able to stand for more than a few minutes.

I recommend getting a cannoli.
