“Great food, cozy East Village spot”
Reviewed June 30, 2012

We've been going here for quite some time. Since Quantum Leap
closed which was just a few blocks away, this has become our regualar
brunch place. It's a small, intimate, colorful restaurant that you can't miss from the outside brightly colored green and yellow painted front.
If you like FRESH, healthy, and delicious food, this is your place. Buckwheat pancakes, veggie omelettes, tofu scramble are just a few
of the many choices for brunch. Haven't had dinner here yet, but we've
never had a bad experience yet. My favorite brunch place in the neighborhood. We're regulars and hope this place stays there forever!

“Wowser....Lots of great food...”
Reviewed November 25, 2011

Need to find a vegetarian restaurant that non-veggies will want to be eat at and not complain?

We had a mixed group of 5 for Thanksgiving dinner and before you read any further it was splendid.

They had our table in their cozy and informal store front in the East Village. Good on street parking. We were welcomed and seated right away. Service was very prompt and moved at the pace of the meal. Most of us had a pumpkin & squash soup. Very yummy, with hints of Thanksgiving herbs. The cup was the size of a bowl.

For dinner I had the enormous vegggie burger. It has pesto on the bun, with avocado, grilled onions, it had everything and was enough to feed three people. Along with the burger came home fries that were well seasoned and some cole slaw.

All really tasty.

Then onto dessert, which was vegan carrot cake and coffee and tea. The tea was a very nice jasmine tea. By son had a excellent French press coffee. Nicely strong, a perfect ending to a very nice meal.

Price was about inexpensive and remember the portions are huge.

“Delicious and imaginative organic vegan food”
Reviewed October 31, 2011

One of the best vegan organic restaurants. No frills, but clean and delicious and large servings - Fantastic deserts. Also relatively inexpensive for the quality and amount of food.
Delicious vegan brunch (pancakes, waffles, etc)
