Our mussels followed by lamb and fish tagine dishes were all fantastic! Perfectly prepared and spiced. Yes, it's busy and crowded, so plan on a visit to the bar -- you will get a table, and it'll be worth the wait. Do it!

This place gets very crowded for brunch and even dinners on weekdays sometimes. The lamb tagine, labne (thick yogurt with olive oil), and matbucha (spicy tomato eggplant dip) are always very good and you might not order them if you don't know what they are. It's a good place for a date too especially if you can get a well-located table.

We have been coming here for the past 3 years. Food is consistently good. The bar can be crowded at times and there is no place to wait - but the food is worth it. If you are visiting or live in NYC, you should give it a try :)

Everytime I'm looking for a good glass of red wine, and food with deep, rich flavors I always go to Mogador. It feels like you take a mini trip to Marrakech when you eat here - and get the grilled Haloumi cheese! Great for date nights too :)

This is our current NYC go to spot for Morrocan. Everything I've had has been good ton very good. Incredibly, they make really good cocktails here, not common at North African type places. I like the tagines, lamb is the stand out. Although fish dishes are quite good as well. They dont take reservations for small parties. There can be long waiting lines at peak times--really long. Never had bad service there, but never had great service either, just barely adequate. Until someone does better Morrocan, we will return.
