“decent food, strong drinks”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 20, 2013

I wasn't expecting the food to be amazing since they are famous for all you can drink brunch. The eggs benedict was satisfying but nothing exceptional. This place is definitely fun on a saturday morning and well worth it for an all you can drink brunch. The service was very attentive and you truly get your monies worth with strong and tasty drinks! Fun place all in all

“All you can drink brunch”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 31, 2012

Friends and I went for their booze brunch. You are provided with two option prices for meals. $10 or $15, unlimited drinks are $10 extra. The food was very good once we got it but the kitchen did have quite a few mix ups. I think this was due to everyone charging the restaurant at noon, when the doors opened. It was a bit of a free for all.....
The drinks were strong, good and no waiting. When we got out bill we were served with a round of shots and were told we could continue drinking at the bar for free.
I wasn't pleased with the backroom, it was cold and they could use some repairs of the seats....Overall a casual, boozy brunch it is!

“Dive Bar Extreme”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 29, 2012

Ugly, dark, crowded interior. An investment in upholstery would be nice. The benches were all torn up and uncomfortable. Smoke blowing in from outside. The bar ran out of a number of tap beers, on a Friday night? Not an environment I'd like to return to.

“You won't get Sunburnt inside”

This cow is dark inside. Better for the young crowd. Was not very inviting. Nice selection of beers on tap, No chilled mugs. Beer was't cold. Didn't stay for food.

“Perfect for a boozy brunch with friends”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 7, 2012 via mobile

I recently went to the sunburnt cow for a Saturday brunch with a large group of friends. $20-25 for bottomless drinks (mimosas, screwdrivers, corkscrews) + your choice of brunch entree. The food is very good, particularly for the price. There is an excellent variety including pancakes, benedict, hamburger, omelette etc. The Queen Adelaide (poached eggs with salmon and avocado on a muffin) was incredible and exceeded my expectations.
The Sunburnt Cow is perfect if you're looking for a boozy brunch with friends. However, perhaps look somewhere else if you're looking for a quiet brunch as it gets rather busy and noisy at the weekends.
