Description: Felidia is located in a converted Brownstone on 58th Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues. Opened in 1981 by Lidia Bastianich, Felidia offers a warm atmosphere where you can still find Lidia greeting guests and fans. Executive Chef Fortunato Nicotra has been with Felidia since 1996 and has brought an innovative touch to traditional ingredients and dishes from all the regions of Italy. Some of the restaurant's signature dishes include pear and fresh pecorino ravioli, veal shank ossobucco and limoncello tiramisu. Felidia also offers a delicious three course price-fixed lunch, Monday - Friday for $29.50 per person, making the restaurant great for business lunches or just a nice afternoon treat. For parties of 8 or more, Felidia offers our group dining menu rather than the a la carte menu. The group dining menu is a four course menu and includes our most popular dishes and seasonal favorites for $90.00 per person.

Nice place for a business dinner.
Food:
The grilled Calamari appetizer was awesome. The scallop appetizer was
uneatable, raw in some kind of sweet
Liquid, made your lips curl. I think the waiter should have warned us as this was a special.
The fish dishes were all good.
The duck was tough and fatty, I did discover right before they took it away under the pile of skin there were a few morsels of tender meat.

“Awesome experience”
Reviewed December 16, 2013 via mobile

Started with octopus. Well prepared and tasteful.
Continue with an intriguing chocolate ravioli, that once you pass the slightly overwhelming taste of sage, it was very good
Service was attentive and laid back, the way I like it

Very good over all

I recommended highly

“Fantastic Italian food and service!”
Reviewed December 10, 2013

My wife and I went here to celebrate a weekend away in New York. This restaurant had wonderful food (I had the cacio e pere-- fantastic) and some of the best service I've ever seen in a restaurant. The wine was outstanding and the food was absolutely delicious. I cannot recommend Felidia more highly. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

“Upscale Italian”
Reviewed December 4, 2013

The decision to eat at Felidia was literally made while we walked by the restaurant. The atmosphere did not disappoint and the food was excellent. The staff could not be any friendlier, and they catered to our needs. We were most impressed with their attention to detail. Although pricier than other restaurants we visited while in New York City, this is Upscale Italian and so it is priced accordingly. My wife was somewhat disappointed that the menu lacked a poultry main dish. However, the one main criticism is that half way through our meal, we began to feel rushed. Perhaps it was because it suddenly became quite busy. Regardless, the sudden change was noticeable and did affect our overall experience.

“Top ten”
Reviewed December 1, 2013

Just a great meal, most attention staff and comfortable seating. The grilled pesce was absolutely outstanding. The wine list more than anyone could want. It's no surprise that Lidia continues to garner awards and accolades. First time for us.....but we'll be back for certain.
