Description: Felidia is located in a converted Brownstone on 58th Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues. Opened in 1981 by Lidia Bastianich, Felidia offers a warm atmosphere where you can still find Lidia greeting guests and fans. Executive Chef Fortunato Nicotra has been with Felidia since 1996 and has brought an innovative touch to traditional ingredients and dishes from all the regions of Italy. Some of the restaurant's signature dishes include pear and fresh pecorino ravioli, veal shank ossobucco and limoncello tiramisu. Felidia also offers a delicious three course price-fixed lunch, Monday - Friday for $29.50 per person, making the restaurant great for business lunches or just a nice afternoon treat. For parties of 8 or more, Felidia offers our group dining menu rather than the a la carte menu. The group dining menu is a four course menu and includes our most popular dishes and seasonal favorites for $90.00 per person.

After trying one of Lydia's other NY restaurants, we wanted to try this one. We were seated at a coveted table by the window which was wonderful and much quieter. The dining room is very small and there were several tables of 5-6 people, but the noise level was not too bad. We chose the tasting menu which was excellent - a shrimp appetizer, a spicy pasta first course, a Neirmann Ranch pork chop caprese (which was fantastic) and an open face cannoli for desert. While expensive, it was worth it, especially with the romantic table! Service was impeccable. We will definitely return.

We have visited Felidia twice before and this third visit was with friends from Arizona and it again was a night of outstanding food and service.

The food was amazing, from the 4-course black truffle "tasting menu" to the grilled octopus to the special soft shell crab. The service was great, too - we must have had 10 people taking good care of us - including owner Lidia Bastianich, who stopped over to see how we were doing! It is not cheap, but for a special night out you will not find a better place in NYC for innovative and top-quality Italian food.

Wonderful food, prepared with care and attention, served in beautiful rooms.
Exquisite carpaccio, head and shoulders above anyone else's, worth its $25 appetizer price. Lobster in broth with polenta very good, though the broth dissolved some of the polenta. Waiter's wine recommendation was thoughtful and precise.

Lunch is served Mon- Friday, for a mere $30, though most items carry a supplement. Looking forward to trying it.

We went to Felidia for our anniversary dinner. The table was ready on time. The food and service was superior. We got some extras including appetizers and extra dessert. This place is highly recommended!
