The place really has great food and for NYC it is comfortable (crowded but not in someone elses lap.) It's a good size place so it can be a little loud. It is expensive but everything I have ever eaten here has been very good. They even have better fortunes in the cookies.

The food was amazing. The music and atmosphere was just buzzing all night. Don't over indulge on the starters like we did, save room for the main course!

Took my daughter for her 16th birthday. She loves Asian food and Tao did not disappoint. Great vibe and decor. Very cool skybox seating (this location used ti be an old theatre). Food was fabulous! Duck spring rolls and crunchy tuna app were both amazing. We were a party of 4 and all ordered something different. All entrees were equally incredible but the sea bass stood out and was hands down the best I ever had. Even the mushroom side dish we ordered was delicious and I don't even like mushrooms!
Would definitely recommend making a reservation and double checking on it the day of your arrival. This place definitely draws a crowd!
Cost was expensive (about 100 pp with drinks) but what we expected for a NYC restaurant. Would highly recommend this establishment!

It was girl's weekend in the city, and we asked the hotel concierge for a great dinner recommendation. We had no idea what to expect and were pleasantly surprised with the energy and vibe in what we discovered to be one of NY's finest hot spots. The Ruby Red Dragon is a good way to start your evening, and we did lots of small plates for sharing. We wanted to taste a variety, so this was a great way to go! Take your smart phone and get pix with the Buddha! By the way, I heard the sake drinks are deadly!

The food was great especially the sushi but be warned its loud here hard to hold any kind of conversation. It's crowded and a good time but leave the old farts at home.
