“Good food and fine Irish charm”
Reviewed August 11, 2012

This pub is on Upper East Side is delightful from its homey environment and down to earth friendly staff. This is considered a neighborhood gem with lots of regulars who frequent the place. Best entree by far is the lamb chops! Generous portions of this home style cooking keeps people coming back for more.

It felt like our home pub. Simple, low-key and unpretentious.

“Wonderful old-fashioned Irish”
Reviewed April 21, 2012

Delicious food (prime rib, lamb chops, etc.) in an old-fashioned upscale Irish pub atmosphere. Soothing lighting, nice waitresses, an owner/host who shakes your hand and says welcome. They do not take reservations, but I've never really had to wait. Highly recommended.

“Wonderful Example of Old New York Hospitality and Food”
Reviewed February 28, 2012

At the advice of a friend we had lunch at this Irish themed pub. It is immediately evident that the owners are proud of their Irish/NY roots and have updated the dinning room and bar while maintaining the right kind of feel. The menu is filled with meat and fish dishes. We both had fish (flounder and scrod). The food was delicious. We ended with a delectable peach Melba. The prices are reasonable. And the service could not have been more friendly.

We are definitely looking to coming back with friends.

“Very pleasant old style bar and restaurant”
Reviewed February 20, 2012

This restaurant on 57th St. between 1st and 2nd Ave. has a very pleasant atmosphere. It's kind of a laid back with a large, spacious dining room. The brunch was good and included a drink but not coffee. There was a good choice of brunch/lunch items; you can stay and chat for as long as you like with no one eager to rush you out.
