Why Petrossian isn't packed at all meals is beyond me. The food is excellent and there is enough variety for every taste. It is one of the most beautiful restaurants in N Y. The prices include pris fixe and a la carte. A romantic spot for all ages.

This restaurant in the heart of NYC just one block from the famous Carnegie Hall an Central Park carries the name of the family, that was for very many years one of the largest importers of Black Gold - Caviar from the Black Sea.
Restaurant is not very big, but has this feel of the grandyre of the golden era of roaring 20's with sculptures and artwork in Art Deco style. Food is very good, so is service.
It's kind of pricy (as it should be), but they, sometimes have pre-theater menu that has all delicious foods on it, that they serve from the regular menu.
Highly recommended !!!
O, they also have a small Cafe right next door, where you can sample some of their caviar, without being in the restaurant environment!

The $34.00 prix fixe brunch is a great value. Three courses and the food is excellent. This decor is art deco, the service wonderful. Caviar is a supplemental fee but is always worth it.

Superb service in a beautifully appointed restaurant. The lunch was a wonderful respite. The Petrossian samplers were delightful. We will return in our next trip to NY. A new favorite fir us.

This is a place to take chicks to impress at how crazy you are to come here. This place is super dark and super-sick. The atmosphere, is like Tony Montana's party room, and the party is amazing caviar and other exquisite small bites and champagne. That's all you need to know. The way people rate stuff these days is ridiculous, so this place should be 5-star, but missed a beat on service and atmosphere was a bit worn, so 4-stars for me, which is excellent, but not superlative.
