I believe this location has been remodeled since I was last there, giving it a cool new look. The food and show are still as awesome as ever. The ginger salad dressing has also undergone what seems to be a slight upgrade as well. It has a fresher texture than in the past, so I think the recipe has been improved.
We had a small sushi roll, and a complete dinner from soup to Haagen Dasz at about 3 in the afternoon before the theater. The clear soup takes the edge off your appetite before giving way to the salad and then stir-fried shrimp appetizer. We ordered the Benihana Trio for a change, instead of our usual Rocky's Choice, because I wanted to try the filet mignon.
As usual, the cooking "show" was fun, the chef friendly and amusing, and the food delicious. The meat is tender, perfectly cooked, and flavorful. The vegetables are crisply sauteed and seasoned just right. The fried rice makes you want more, except you're too full. And the ice cream is, well, Haagen Dasz.
Have fun and don't forget to say Arigato!
